Paul's '96 Nissan 240SX, SE Coupe

Update January 2002: I've sold my car. I'll edit this back when I have time.

This car, 37K miles(!), CD, aircon, 5spd stick, stock 240SX is FOR SALE. A Monterey body shop rated it in "Excellent" condition. Here is the link description for this car and its features I entered at Kelly Blue Book. They suggest a $10,670 private value sale for a car with that age, mileage and equipment in the Bay Area. I'm willing to take a reasonable offer from anyone who's after an efficient, no hassle sale. I live in Monterey but the car is currently with me in San Francisco.

(This car has such a low mileage as I am an avid motorcyclist, and so hardly use a car except when the weather is appalling, which isn't often in Monterey. When other people have driven the 240SX they've invariably reverted to some child-like, grinning, slightly demented state... It's a fun vehicle :-)

Here are some reviews. "A sleek, fun, sporty and reliable car for anyone who likes to drive", "Decent performance and awesome reliability". If you poke about on Google for the 240SX you can see it's an upgrader's dream. Check out for example the info-packed 240SX owner's club especially the "Installs" link at the top.

The only difference between these pictures and how the car is now is I had a '99 front bumper fitted which has the dropped, lower look with spot lamps. I don't have a pic unfortunately yet, except to say it looks cooler than the stock '96 part.

Oh, the bass bins aren't actually installed in the car they were just in the back seat on the way from the shop but looked kinda cool/silly :-) [They went on to be turned into a solar-powered sound system for our camp at Burning Man]
