The realprogrammers.com / paulm.com server hosts in addition to about 50 websites and mail domains, a wide variety of common and not-so-common services: LDAP, freenet, NTP, IRC and more.

• The primary server mythix currently lives in Mailbox (Fulham, London, UK) (you can query its DNS LOC record for coordinates). It has a single 1.8GHz P4 with 512MB of DDR and 120GB space on two striped/RAID0 7,200rpm IDE drives. Its network connection is 1Mbps.
• The secondary server tantrix lives in Santa Cruz on a T1 1.544Mbps line. It is operating as a secondary mail, DNS and database server (MySQL; PostgreSQL database replication to come). tantrix has a nightly-updated copy of the websites and their configuration which can be used in the event of failure of the main server.

Currently there are over a dozen users on the system making use of pretty much all different services.
