Comments: Pre-op Party Monday!

Good luck paul! Give us a picture of the foot to concentrate on at 1pm. Everyone - think remote group healing and idolatrous worship of paul's right foot.

Not as good as the photos that you showed us yesterday in hospital Paul (the colour is not as pretty for a start) but here is a medical picture of a subtalar joint:

I'll be touching the screen and wishing you better from 1pm - I think the op actually starts at 1.30pm but an extra half hour can only help!

Good luck mate!

Everyone touch their screens! Good luck Paul, look forward to your next blog entry.

It's 1.30pm. Lots of people are thinking about you and wishing you luck Paul... Roger V blogged on Ecademy. Hope the op goes well.

I think this is close to the foot in question.
Focus as the bone begin to heal together.

Though I don't think this is quite as fucked.

I can visualise it getting better... ommmmmmmmm...

(BTW Claire, if that's what Paul's tootsie will look like, will it be possible to pick him up with a magnet?)

Claire! I saw the post-op xray today and it looks a lot like that, the screws and metal honeycomb. Calcaneus burst fracture.
