The application failes to initialize properly. It also failed to give me any reason for doing so. I know it's probably lack of .NET framework, but really it should be capable of telling me that.
Posted by Nik at April 11, 2005 11:05Hmm, it's a 20KB application so there is a question about do you want every application shipped with enough code to pop up some kind of dialog box and bloat out your app to several times its original size? Probably not, and definitely not if you're running it on a phone or other small device.
As it happens it is a lack of .NET Framework which will cause it not to run. For this app, since I built it with beta development tools it requires .NET Framework 2.0 which hasn't even shipped officially. You can download it here.
I will go back and rebuild it for .NET 1.1 which is the latest official release. Right now I'm away from work so this won't happen 'til later this week...
